recIPe: gluten free slutty brownies
Today I was at a bake sale, and I saw a tray of slutty brownies. I thought about how good they were and how I wished I could eat them and then I thought hey, there's no reason I can't make my own! So, one short trip to the grocery later, here you have it - gluten free slutty brownies. The only real issue that I encountered with this was the fact that my younger sister decided to add an excessive amount of chocolate chips into the brownie batter, and it ended up very runny and difficult to cut. Happy baking!
Gluten free slutty brownies:
-One package of refrigerated Pillsbury gluten free cookie dough (14.3 oz)
-One package of Glutino gluten free creme filled chocolate cookies (or another gluten free Oreo-type product)
-One box gluten free Krusteaz brownie mix, prepared as per package instructions
-Optional: chocolate chips or gluten free sprinkles for topping
Preheat the oven to 350°. Grease a 9x9 or 11x7 pan. Spread the cookie dough across the bottom of the pan. Next, place the gluten free Oreos on top of the cookie dough. Lastly, pour the brownie batter over the top of the gluten free Oreos, making sure that all edges are evenly covered. Bake for 30-35 minutes, or until a toothpick poked in comes out cleanly. Wait an hour before slicing in order for the brownies to fully hold their shape. Enjoy!!!
